February 20th of this year saw my 30th year of employment at West Texas Rural Telephone/WT Services.  What a pleasure and rewarding experience it has been to be a part of a progressive company such as ours.  Growing and expanding from our West Texas Rural Copper only communication facilities in 1992 to our 2022 state-of-the-art Fiber Optic network in the communities of Hereford, Friona, Bovina, Bushland, and West Texas Rural has been a breathtaking experience to say the least.  What I appreciate most about working at West Texas Rural Telephone/WT Services is best stated in our company’s Culture Statement: “We cultivate a culture of excellence by delivering our very best in all we do, holding ourselves accountable for operating with integrity, professionalism, and innovation.” This allows growth in our employees and provides terrific services for our customers and neighbors. I am looking forward to what the future holds!

Coming close to my 10-year anniversary and I couldn’t be happier. I feel a sense of purpose and belonging, working for a company that is goal oriented. To be a part of the fiber build out in our COOP area has been both very challenging and rewarding. It has been a pleasure making a difference for our customers.
